Retouching Varnish Professional retouching varnish from Winsor & Newton. It is a professional, top-quality retouching varnish with a slightly glossy finish. Provides temporary protection for paintings painted with acrylic, oil and alkyd paints. It is resistant to UV radiation. Unlike other varnishes, you can paint on its surface. To achieve this, it is best to keep the successive layers of paint as thin as possible (thinned with a large amount of medium) and apply them as gently as possible.
