Amsterdam Acrylic Binder is a versatile product with multiple uses. It can be used as a primer for highly absorbent surfaces such as walls or cardboard.
The binder creates a protective layer between the surface and your paint, preventing the paint from being absorbed into the material. It can also be used to create your own acrylic paints by mixing it with pigments of your choice, allowing you to fully control the materials you use. Thanks to its strong adhesive properties, it is also ideal for mixed media techniques.
It dries quickly and forms an elastic, water-resistant, colorless, and transparent film. Alkali-resistant, making it suitable for walls. Adheres to all clean, grease-free, and slightly absorbent surfaces, including paper, wood, canvas, stone, and Styrofoam. Can be painted over with acrylic colors and gesso. Clean tools with water.
